Tell us what happened with Papa.
Mike left the band around September of last year. Honestly not really sure why …just didn't have the drive anymore that we had. We have a great few years with him and we wish him and his family the best!!
And Aaron replaced him?
Yeah, Aaron has always been my best friend since we were like 15 yrs old. We asked him if he wanted to rejoin and he's been crushing with us since October…crushing bass player and also adds an extra vocal to the mix.
How is he working out?
Killer Jenn!! He's doing great! The new line up is our best yet!!
It was a tragedy with what happened with Nick. How are things with you guys? Are you still grieving?
2000 was a rough year for us. We are all doing well and have moved on the best we can…He will always be remember in the scene as long as Lividity is around to play the songs he helped write!! Thanks to all who send best wishes!! It is much appreciated!
Who replaced Nick and how is he working out?
James Whitehurst is our new drummer and things couldn't be better!! He has great skills and a lot of drive!! Plus he loves pussy so we had to have him in the band!!
You had your first show in Peoria in about 2 years last week. How did that go?
Great...All the bands were good and the turnout wasn't bad at all. Look forward to more shows in the area soon!!
What happened with United Guttural?
Just time to move on for Lividity...We wish them well!!
Are you on any labels now?
We just signed a 2 CD deal with Morbid Records about a month or so ago. Olaf and crew are well-respected and hard working…hope to bring the band to the next level of sickness and perversion with their help!!
Do you have a new CD coming out soon?
The new CD is scheduled for a summer 2002 release (maybe sooner if we are done with it sooner). We already have 5 songs for the new CD and wanna have at least 5 more before we record.
How about any tours coming up? Are you hitting any of the summer fests?
We'll tour Europe and the States with Morbid's help in 2002...Hope to hook up some killer opening spots for some more established bands…We'll have to wait and see!! We do play the "END OF DAYS" Fest on September 22nd at the Emerson Theatre in Indianapolis, IN.....A lot of killer bands will be there so we are excited for that!
Will you guys ever play Milwaukee or any of the Koshnick fest's? And why not?
Probably not again…A waste of cash for 20 minutes of time plus it's just a cluster fuck!! I hope people will realize that these fest are getting worse and worse but costing more and more!!
What bands have you been listening to lately?
I've been jamming to Nile, Server Torture, Carcass and Incantation lately!! Plus a lot of old thrash like Overkill and Testament. Can't forget your roots you know!!
Favorite show played and why?
Probably this years Ohio Deathfest because it was a long road trip to play that show and our set went really well…any show were I get to see killer bands and play along side of them are my favorites.
Favorite band you played with?
Either CorpseVomit (IL) or Regurgutation (OH)… we just get out of fucking line when we play with those guys. Tons of drunken and fucking cat stories. Ha ha ha.
Oh My!! I don't think I want to ask anymore about that…How is your elbow doing? Is it really painful to play? Is there anything you can do from keeping it hurt too much?
It's actually getting better! Thanks for asking! Hurts sometimes but hopefully it will get better soon… Still can play at 100% so that is all that matters for now.
