2007 Update: No real update here - Life Without's main page is down and their myspace hasn't been updated since last year. They don't log into it much either, last time was 11/7. Not sure if they are still around or not.

2006 Update: PrisoneR 13 is no longer. We have a new band called Life Without. You can check us out at http://www.life-without.net or http://www.myspace.com/lifewithoutvt . We've put out a 5 song demo that was very well received in VT, are getting set to record a full length of all new songs (probably 9 or 10 songs), and getting exposure on MTV2's "in your area". The MTV thing is only brodcast in VT and the surrounding areas in the form of a lil window in the corner of shows to check out, so far, we're the only band featured. We are also going to be featured on a Big Heavy World Records comp entitled "Box Of Nails" in early spring. Please check us out and get back at us, I'd be really interested in what you have to say. I must warn you it's a lot different from PrisoneR 13, but I think you'll find it pretty damn cool.

2005 Update #2:
Heard from one of the old band members and the band has broke up in 2004 due to personal bullshit within the band. Some of the members are in a new band called Life Without and a new web site should be available soon.

2005 Update:
Not sure about these guys. Their site doesn't exist anymore and I can't find anything else about them. If I hear anything, I'll post it here.

Interview with Bowser and Rollajay from PrisoneR 13

So tell me about the new album, that will be released in April.

The new cd is titled 'Strength Of One'. It's straight up hardcore. It's fast, heavy, very moshable shit.
How does this differ than other CD's that have been released in the past?
For those who have bought our cds in the past, expect a much cleaner, heavier, well rounded record. You can also look forward to a much more professional look to the cd.
I noticed on the site you guys will be touring in the summer, any ideas where you will be hitting and with who?
We're looking to set up an East Coast tour this summer in support of the new cd. As far as with who, no one has been confirmed yet. All the good bands break up.
Also, you might be heading over to Europe, how is that deal happening and who will you be touring with over there?
We're working with a promoter out of Daytona Beach Florida/London England, that is really interested in getting us slots on a couple of big festivals over there. Nothing solid yet but look for updates on our web site Prisoner13.net.
Is there any label contact right now?
We really don't try to sell ourselves to any label. Right now we're busy playing a lot of shows, playing new cities and having a shitload of fun until the right offer comes along.
If you have your pick of any label to sign with, would you and with which one and why?
Bridge 9 or Trustkill. Most of the bands that we listen to are on those labels. I mean shit, touring with Nora, Terror or Most Precious Blood would kick ass. Plus, those labels are still really based in the underground which is very cool.
Who has been your favorite band to play with?
Tree. Those guys were so casual offstage and totally ripped on stage. Great guys. Plus, most of the VT bands we play parties with are awesome too.
What is the scene like in VT? Do a lot of people come out to metal shows?
It can be cool at times. But the VT crowd can be really fucking picky considering the size of the state and the amount of bigger acts that come through. It's really clickish. You have the hardcore kids, the kids that are too good for hardcore now and all the kids just riding the wave of what's popular that week. Fuck those cocksuckers.
Have you ever played at the Station in NH, where the big fire happened?
No, but fire rules and Great White sucks. Their only hit song was a fucking cover.
So, you have the new album coming out, a tour in the summer, what is next for P-13?
More blood, sweat and beers. We're all about playing as many shows as we can and constantly kicking the asses of the pussy-core bands.
What kind of influences do you have, and the band has?
Our influences vary, but we are all focused on the heavier music. Shit like Pantera, Sepultura, Sam Black Church, Biohazard, Anthrax and many others but definitely not Megadeath. Dave Buttstain wicked sucks.
Have you ever had any disasters at a show or any super bad shows? All bands have at least one…let's hear about yours…
We played this one show at a hip-hop club in Chicago. The crowd was really getting into it and a fist fight broke out. We have this big squirt gun that sprays pepper spray all over the crowd during Rollajay's drum solo. Well, the crowd totally took it the wrong way and panic'd causing a huge stampede. It was a really bad scene, you must have heard about it.
What 5 cd's are in your CD player right now?
Candiria-300 Percent Density, Terror-Lowest Of The Low, SuperJoint Ritual-Use Once and Destroy, Body Count-s/t, Shadows Fall-The Art Of Balance. Plus any other Pantera, Gwar, Blood For Blood or Scissorfight.
Anything else you would like to add?
We're young but we can compete with any other band out there. Give us a stage, a floor, a corner of the room we don't care. We'll rock until your mom puts out. To the 'scene'- Get back to the music not the politics. Have fun and don't take yourself so fucking seriously, chances are, your band sucks anyway.
