AMON AMARTH- The Crusher
This is pretty good. I don't remember if I liked their last album, but I like this one. The album cover is a little cheesy, but that's okay. Some fast death metal. Maybe if the singer went a little higher, I would consider this to have a touch of black metal.

GOD DETHRONED- Ravenous
This to me, sounds like death metal. The ride cymbal sounds so clear. I love when I can hear that. These guys are pretty technical. The bass drum is flying.

SIX FEET UNDER- True Carnage
This is a enhanced CD rom, which the music video for one of the songs. I never thought 6FU would have a video out, but I've seen stranger things. The first song is a little slow. Not something I would expect from these guys. Don't worry though, it picks up. I don't know, I just feel like I'm listening to a Cannibal album, but just not as fast. Maybe all the pot is slowing them down.

CANNIBAL CORPSE-Cannibalism

This is a live CD. All my favorites are on this CD, so I'm happy. We got 18 tunes and there is I Cum Blood; Stripped, Raped and Strangled; Gallery of Suicide and more. For the Cannibal fan!

CATASTROPHIC-The Cleansing
Holy fuck. This is awesome!!! This band has lots of talent, there is Trevor who played in Obituary before, and we have the rest of the guys from Pyrexia. This is incredible. The drums fly, the riffs kill and the singing is great. Not one imperfection.

IMMOLATION-Close to a World Below
Why are you reading my review? You should already have this!!!!!!

KING DIAMOND-House of God
I never liked King, never got into his vocals. I saw him live about 3 times for the tour for this album and by the 3rd time, I was into it. I heard the one song on the radio, Help! and I thought it ruled. So I begged my friend to send me a copy, he thought I was out of my mind cause he knows I don't like King either. I listened to the album a couple times and I'm still not really digging this too much. It is possible that it could grow on me a little more, but I don't know. Some songs are good, and then there are others which just make me want to pull out my hair.

SIX FEET UNDER-Graveyard Classics
It was pretty funny hearing these guys add their touch to some of these classics. The best cover is the Monkee's Stepping Stone. I heard that in the car and couldn't stop laughing. It rules!

BOLT THROWER-Mercenary
I'm really sure how to review this. I honestly though this band was one of those metal bands from the 80's with the high vocals, that I can't stand. So I was surprised to hear this, but I can't compare it to anything prior because I never heard these guys before. This is some good death metal. They are fast, real tight, and I like their riffs.

THE CROWN- Hell is Here
From looking at the cover, I thought this was going to be a Overkill or Stryper wanna be band. There is a hand with the "horns up" sign with fire in the background. Real cheesy. But they fucking rule!!!! The drummer is fast as hell. The music is fast. In my opinion, I think the vocals are death, although some might say it is more along the lines of thrash. I hope this band goes far for them!!!!!

DARK FUNERAL- Voviscum Satanas
I think I have the digi-pak and it is really put together nicely. I have gotten some and they are just shit, but they should be totally happy with this job. This is some black metal and they really kick ass! The high pitched screams are in there, the drummer super fast. They are really tight and the riffs are cool as hell. This is definitely a keeper!!!

ENGINE
This is a kick ass CD. The vocals remind me of the Deftones. The music isn't that heavy, but it still has an awesome sound. This is definitely a keeper.

IMMOLATION-Failures for Gods
I can't compare this to anything, because this is the first CD I have from these guys. I saw them in Milwaukee and I thought they were great. They are super heavy, super fast. The drummer blows me away, he is so fast. I don't know what else to say about it! One of the most complex CD's I have heard in a really long time.

GWAR- We Kill Everything
This album rocks!!! I like it so much better than there last one, Carnival. It's a lot heavier. I don't even think it sounds like any of there other albums. With songs like FishFuck, My Girly Ways, Penile Drip, and Fucking an Animal, why wouldn't you want to get this??!! Plus it's GWAR!!!!

IN EXTREMO-Verehrt und Angespien
Who knows what the hell they are singing about, this is all in a different language. The music is like some kind of doomy shit and there might be keyboard, but I can't tell because I can't read the inlay. Very Weird.

IN RUINS- Four Season of Grey
This is some melodic death. It's real good. They have a lot going on at once and they are tight as hell. They have a guy singing and then another one does death over it. The guy doing the death vocals, they aren't low, there isn't any growls or anything. You can almost understand what he is saying. They all are really talented guys.

KINGS X- Tape Head
You guys are going to think I crazy, but I love these guys! Of course this isn't death metal. The guy singing has a really good voice. The music is mellow and real "poppy." They have some heavy parts, but not too many. Anyone who has an open mind and likes other stuff besides "heavy metal" should pick this up.

LOBOTOMY-Born in Hell
Death metal. Yah!!! This is fast. I don't know who I could compare this to, it doesn't sound like anyone I can think of. The first song, has this very weird off timing beat they do. Sounds good to me.

MORTIFICATION-Triumph of Mercy
From looking at the album cover, I thought was going to be a horrible CD. But in all seriousness, I was totally surprised. This isn't bad. The vocals are death for a little while and then they switch to a heavy thrash vocal range. The aren't too fast, it reminds me more of thrash metal. The double bass sounds pretty good though.

RAVEN-Raw Tracks
This is a compendium of demo/ live/ bootleg material and yes, I took that right off the CD. I have never heard of this band and I'm glad I haven't before. Two words for you, which should sum it all up: POWER METAL.

SPOKES BEARD- Day for Night
I hate to say it, but this is the most cheesy thing I have ever listened to!!! The first song, I can totally see being the intro to a kid's TV show, when they show the cast and give their real names. Real upbeat pop music.

TOURNIQUET-Microscopic View of a Telescopic Realm
I don't like this. You can't hear the bass on this. The vocals remind me of one of those 80's bands I never listened to because I didn't care for the vocals.

VADER-Litany
It's VADER, why do you need to read the review, GO AND GET THIS!

VERMIN-Millennium Ride
Metal? These guys are from Sweden, but at least they are singing in English. This sounds like some thrash metal. Thumbs down.
