VICIOUS ART – the Swedish Death Metal bastard with ex-members of Entombed, Grave and Dark Funeral - are finished mixing their yet untitled second album (first for Mighty Music). Some song titles are ”Tombstone grind”, ”Our family flesh”, ”We´re both into killing me”. Furthermore the band has been confirmed at the Metal Massacre III in Linköping/Sweden on November 2 with KING DIAMOND headlining. THORIUM - THORIUM recently recorded their comeback album ”Feral Creation” at the Berno Studio (The Haunted, Vomitory, Deranged) in Sweden and are currently finishing off the mix with Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Mercenary, Volbeat) at Hansen Studios. Furthermore, the band has hooked up with legendary artist Dan Seagrave (Malevolent Creation, Entombed, Suffocation) to paint the cover artwork for the album. The band is currently planning a European tour for the end of 2007/beginning of 2008 (bookers, get in touch). Expect ”Feral Creation” to hit the stores end of 2007/beginning of 2008. SLUDGE - The Swiss metal machine SLUDGE has taken things easy, while mainman Makro focused on releasing a new album and playing live with his other band SAMAEL. Right now the upcoming SLUDGE album ”Lava” is in the process of being mixed and a release of the album is set to late 2007 / early 2008. We can’t wait to unleash this masterpiece! COMPOS MENTIS - The premier melodic Danish death metal band COMPOS MENTIS released their second album ”Gehennesis” on the 18th of June with great response; http://www.metal-revolution.com (93/100): Throughout the whole release Gehennesis has everything a death metal record should have and a lot more to it.
http://www.rockfreaks.net (8/10): Gehennesis is an extremely well-composed piece of music that has had time to mature and develop.

CRONIC DISORDER- Torture Test
This is a mix of thrash metal and death metal.This is fast and the guitars sound technical too.They are from North Carolina.I never heard of anyone good coming out from there, so this will put them on the map.

ENTER MY SILENCE- Remotecontrolled Scythe
I'm not sure if I like this or not. The guitar work is pretty technical, from what I can hear. The style is modern melodic death metal. It is definitely good.

ANASARCA-Moribund
This rules! This is death metal and damn, these guys kick ass. This is the best, the lyric's are about convicted death row inmates. They got lyric's from people either on death row, or dead from being on death row. The music is real fast and the vocals sound awesome. Must get!!!

PANZERCHRIST-Soul Collector
This is real good too! This is some brutal death metal. They have a chick bass player. The whole in-lay of the CD is written in German. I can't tell though if he is singing in German, or English. I'm impressed!

INQUITY-Five Across The Eyes
Death metal band from Denmark and they have been around since 1989! Pretty cool sound to them. The drummer is real good, the music is real heavy. For some reason, I'm not liking the vocals too much, they aren't very clean. But other than that, it is a rocking little CD.

CORPSE VOMIT-Drowning In Puke
This isn't the same band from over here, these guys are from Denmark I think. This is some pretty cool death metal. The vocals seem a bit low here. The music is real heavy, the riffs sound pretty cool. The cover art is a little cheesy, but the album makes up for it.

GUIDANCE OF SIN- Soulseducer
Death metal, no question about it. Nothing too special about this CD. They are good, don't get me wrong. They have some heavy parts, but for the most part, they aren't that heavy. The vocals aren't typical death either, they are a little higher and not as deep.

GUIDANCE OF SIN-6106
Here is a cross between some death metal and thrash vocals. I'm leaning more towards the death. The music is a thrashy sound. It isn't super fast, but it is real heavy. This is a keeper.

SACRIFICIAL-Erect: Eloquent: Extinct
Woo Hoo, now I like this! This is a mix between hard core and metal. They remind me of Madball (who is one of my favorite bands). He music is real heavy with some catchy little beats they do. The vocals are more along the hard core type. Pretty cool guitar riffs too.

THALARION-Four Elements Mysterium
This is real slow and melodic. There are two singers, one is female and the other is a man. She has a good singing voice. This has keyboards too. It's too slow and depressing for me.

WOLFHEART-Cold Breath
This is pretty cool. The music sounds awesome. It is real clear, the production is real good. The vocals are black metal I want to say. He doesn't do anything off the wall but they are straight and clean black metal vocals, I think anyhow. The music isn't that heavy though. They have a great sound.
