BLOODTHORN- Under the Reign of Terror
This is some pretty good black metal. Mayhem is on this album singing on a cover of Deathcrush. The guitar with the drums are extremely tight. One of the more technical albums I have heard. Excellent.

HIMINBJORG- Haunted Shores
I like this. The music sounds like it could be rock. But it is more like a Viking/pagan metal. The vocals are all over the place, with different styles. The packaging is pretty cool, an 8 page digi-pak. Good stuff.

HUDDEN- Spectral Magnitude
I wasn't sure what to expect from the beginning of this CD, but it just took a little bit to kick in. This is some black metal. I don't really care for the vocals too much, but the music is pretty good. They are flying, of course.

JUDAS ISCARIOT- To Embrace the Corpses Bleeding
Black metal. The vocals just sound scary. The only thing I don't like is I can't hear the snare drum too well. I can tell the drummer is flying, but the snare doesn't have the normal poppy sound.

KRIEG- Destruction Ritual
Oh yeah, no doubt about it. This is some black metal. I don't like the vocals though. The drummer is flying though, one of the faster double bass I have heard in a long time. The vocals are just ear bleeding high.

SECRETS OF THE MOON- Stronghold of the Inviolables
Here is some more black metal from Red Stream. This has ex members of Martyrium. They have a Darkthrone and Celtric Frost influence to them. The vocals have a pretty cool echo to them.

SKEPTICISM- The Process of Farmakon
This is some obscure stuff. Extremely dark and doom sounding. Just listening to this, I feel like I'm going to hell. Only two songs on the disc, but they are pretty long.

CABAL-Midian
This comes in a nice little digi-pac. KillJoy from Necrophagia is on vocals. Music is really fast, the drummer is real tight. The first song has a really cool sounding guitar solo, and it is rare that I like guitar solos. I would go pick this up!

HIMINBJORG-Third
I really dig the cover of this. I think it is just a fire, but it looks so cool. Anyway, here is some black metal. Then there are some pretty clean vocals too. One of my favorite bands on this label.

JUDAS ISCARIOT-Dethroned Conquered and Forgotten
This is really good. I never knew this was only one guy! This is some black metal. He has some pretty impressive screams. I like it.

KOROVAKILL-Waterhells
This is Pat's biggest release yet. You get lots of good stuff when you order the CD, the packaging is wicked nice. Production is excellent, everything is really crisp and clear. Black metal but the vocals aren't high pitched, or anything annoying. The drums, especially the double bass sounds so impressive.

ENDVRA-Elder Signs
This is a double CD so that is cool already! This has a lot of different stuff going on. There are a bunch of clips and samples from things. The have an awesome sounding flute going on in one of the songs. Really cool instrumentals they have. They have so many different sounds going on, it is so hard for me to even describe them. Both CD's are more than an hour each. This is totally one for the collection!

FOREST OF IMPALED-Demonvoid
I really like this a lot. This is death metal to me, which some hints of black metal. The vocals sound like they could be more black metal, but I still feel the touch of death. This is great, they are fast, the production sounds great. Some of the riffs are really cool. Get this!!

HIMINBJORG-Where Ravens Fly
Some fast intense stuff. The ride cymbal is so clear, and it really gives these guys a unique sound. Some pretty intense black metal. Track two has a pretty cool electric guitar instrumental, it reminds me of something from the Colonial era.

HIMINBJORG-In the Raven's Shadow
The drummer in this is amazing! He is flying, but it is hard to hear. You have to listen for it. They are like a black metal band with some actual singing. They aren't super fast, but the vocals and the music fits in well together.

JUDAS ISCARIOT-Heaven in Flames
Here is some more black metal. The signers vocals are pretty eerie. They aren't real fast either, the drummer is doing blast beats. But the music isn't hyper fast. Sounds good to me.

NECROPHAGIA-Holocausto De La Morte
This is the follow up to their CD "Season's of the Dead". KillJoy does an awesome job at his growls and just the whole bands kicks as on this intense brutal, horror, death album. I think there could even be a hint of an old style punk influenced here. Clips from horror movies all over and the cover of the CD is a masterpiece. What more can you want?

NECROPHAGIA-Black Blood Vomitorium
I always like there stuff, because they have the BEST sound clips from movies. You should be also on the look out for a new video coming out from them soon. Well just check the fucking interview. I like KillJoy's vocals a lot here. The first song, there is some cool changes, it is real fast and then it goes into this awesome slower part, then changes again to another slower part. Real good shit. Only four songs though, not enough!!!!!!!

SKEPTICISM-Aes
Some killer death metal here. This is one song, it is 27:52 minutes long too. The vocals aren't used too much either, so he isn't singing for the whole 30 minutes. The whole song is real slow. There are some real awesome parts to this song. You don't get bored with this either, because they are doing so many different things, it is unreal. This is killer.

TO LIVE IS EVER TO BE IN DANGER
Here is a comp Patrick put out with his best bands. Bethlehem, Skepticism, Agarthi, Endoura, Himinbjurg, Necrophagia and more. To check this out, send $5 to Red Stream. It's well worth it.

VIOLATION-Moonlight's Child
Production is real good on this, it is real crisp. You can hear everything. You can even tell the difference between the drum cymbals he is using. This is black metal, but again, it isn't real fast. The drummer just keeps the double bass going through almost the whole thing. The vocals change between high and lows. So the vocals are mixed up a bit, so you don't get bored hearing the same tone through out. Excellent!! Get this!
