SYZSLAK – When Demons Ride Angels

This is all over the place. This is like a mix of Black Metal, Death Metal and Thrash Metal Music. Vocally, the singer switches between everything. One second it’s high black metal vocals, the next verse we have thrash metal vocals, then the next verse is death metal. The music is fast, speed metal sounding. Something you would have heard in the 80’s, with the bands Anthrax, and Metallica. Songs are quick, not very long. Very unique sound, with all types of metal mixed into one band.

BITCHSLICER - Cum Inside
These guys are very entertaining. In my CD, I have little cut out of hearts. Not sure if it comes with all of the CD's or just mine, but it's a nice touch. These guys have a unique sound. Punk rock with a touch of death metal. Their lyric's are pretty amusing. The vocals remind me of Glen Danzing when he plays with the Misfits. Just the way he sings through out, it reminds me of this singer in Bitchslicer. They are fast, double bass keeping everything moving along nicely. Heavier than punk, but not as heavy as death metal.

COMP CD - Free Stuff
Worldeater sent me a comp CD with some decent bands on it. Hellblock 6, Menstrual Vampires, Northern Liberties, Scabbicack, and Kiss Kiss Kill to name a few. From what I can see, most of the bands on this label/comp are from PA, which is a good thing and a good way to get the great bands of this area out. This label's CD's are dirt cheap and the prices include shipping, which are two things you aren't going to find anywhere else!

HELLBLOCK 6 - Nuclear Age
From what I have read, this was recorded back in 2002. These guys mix it up, all different styles to them. I can see Punk, Death, and Thrash. The sound isn't bad, singer has a lot of screaming. Sounds like a punk meeting death metal. Music is fast, grinding riff's and just pure evil. The songs are a little long, but metal fans will enjoy this.
