2007 Update: Wow, I can not believe this site is still up and I'm still doing it! Let's see, I started the geocities site in 2001 and then registered my domain with Go Daddy in 2002. I obvisouly have way too much free time on my hands! To give a quick 5 year recap and update to the below....I'm old now. Almost 30. I'm an accountant and back in school trying to get my degree in forensic chemistry. So far so good, but way too much work. Still into metal, not so much death metal anymore, mostly because it all just sounds the same to me anymore. So that's not the first thing I grab for to listen to anymore. I listen to a lot of rock and of course metal, hardcore, and punk. Can't forget 80's hair metal! I think last year I went to more hair metal shows than metal shows (don't think I'm suppose to admit to that though!)
I'm not able to update the site as much as I use to, due to school. So updates have been taking a long time for me to do, espically including reviews and interviews. As of today (January 7, 2007) I have a stack of CD's I still need to listen to, not to mention about 50 emails regarding mp3 reviews. So if you send me emails and you don't get a response right away, 90% of the time it's because I'm swamped with school. The other 10% is probably me trying to catch up on sleep! Thanks for stopping by!

Let me think...I'm not really sure what to say here...I love music. I guess that is why I'm here doing this site. I wanted another place for interviews and reviews and everything else music related to go. And what better place than the internet!

I've been listening to metal, since the 6th grade...I graduated in 1995, so you figure out the math! My first metal tapes (because back then, I didn't even know what a CD was), Guns N' Roses and Poison. It is so funny to say that. Then, glam metal went out, grunge music came in. I was into all those bands too. We all have embarrassing times! Now I'm just some sorry piece of shit listening to death metal. Mostly. Death metal of course is my favorite type of metal. I can listen to all of though. I love hard core, black metal is cool, when I'm in the mood for it, emo, old school thrash, noise, grind, speed, 80's glam, (yes I still listen to it), basically, if it has to do with metal, I can listen to it.

I also can listen to the softer music, like radio crap. I have no problems putting in a Live or Lifehouse album and then the next CD that goes in is Cannibal Corpse. But I can listen to it all. I get made fun of all the time, and I'll admit, I have a Ricky Martin album. Actually I have two of them. And I don't listen to him just cause he is hot. I actually, hold your breathe, like it! Believe it or not! N'Sync, I have one of their albums too. And I know I'm committing a sin here, I even have an Eminem album. I can listen to anything. I hate country. That is one thing you will never see me listen to, if I can help it. Well, let me think about that...I do like that girl, that blond, Faith something or other. She has a couple good songs I like.

Some other bands I'm into are Diecast, Biohazard, Cannibal Corpse, The Gathering, Shadows Fall, All that Remains, Life of Agony, Six Feet Under, Linkin Park, Tantric, Blink 182, Everclear, Rancid, Eve 6, Madball, My Own Victim, Lacuna Coil, King Diamond, Candiria, The Haunted, Cradle of Filth, Lividity, Today is the Day, Skinless, Dial 7, Warrant, ETown Concrete,Finger 11, American HiFi, Nickelback, Offspring, Deadlights, Gardenian, Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Internal Bleeding, Lamb of God, the Beatles, the Monkees, the BeeGee's, Vixen, Slaughter, Skid Row, Incubus, Staind, Nothingface, Demons and Wizards, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Wheatus, Suicide Machines, Thumb, Oleander and the list goes on for days....Point is, I love music and I love being involved with it.

I feel like I'm typing up a resume or something...Anyway, back in 1994 or 1995, one of those, I was in a band. I use to play drums in the band Family of Freaks. That was an AWESOME time. I had so much fun through out 99.9% of the time. It was so much fun playing out. The drives to some of those places sucked ass, but it was so much fun playing out. I remember the first show we had, it was at some dive club in Philly, Club Dreams or something. It was a strip club in the day, and a club for bands at night. Oh man, I swear the whole ride up there, I thought I was going to vomit. I think one of the guys in the band did actually get sick. We met so many cool bands and played with awesome bands, personality wise and musically. What a fun time. Probably one of the best times in my life.

Of course, all good things have to come to an end and when the band ended I still wanted to stay in the scene. I hooked up with Dea Evenback and started writing with her as her co-editor. I still do that and that is a lot of fun. Do I want to be a journalist? Hhhhheeeeeelllll no! I can't stand writing, actually. I love doing interviews with bands though, and if I really know the band personality, they are the best. I have no creative bones in my body though. But I like doing this, it keeps me up to date with the bands that are in the underground and I enjoy meeting new people.

So, I just want to close by saying one thing. For those who say, and believe it or not, I get this ALL THE FUCKING TIME, that I'm not a true metal head, because I don't stick to death metal and listen just and only to death metal, I raise my little (c'mon, give me a break, I'm a little girl, I can't have a big glass), I raise my glass of vodka up to the computer screen and with the biggest grin on my face, I say FUCK OFF!
